The Bridgestone World Solar Challenge (BWSC) is a 30-year old test of human and engineering excellence. It brings almost a thousand students and volunteers from around the world every two years to build and race high-tech solar vehicles over 3000km from Darwin to Adelaide.

This challenging journey through the Australian outback was brought to life by Dada’s team in 2019 through a documentary showcasing the event commissioned by Bridgestone Australia and the South Australian Tourism Commission (SATC).

Working with our clients, Dada delivered an informative and visually stunning product that promoted not just the event’s challenging journey from Darwin to Adelaide, but delivered key awareness over Bridgestone’s corporate social responsibility (CSR) work, and the tourism outcomes for the South Australian Tourism Commission and Northern Territory.

Throughout the event, the Dada team was also responsible for developing daily social media video throughout the course of the fortnight-long event.

This documentary was screened in South Australia on the Seven Network and worldwide via the official BWSC website (worldsolarchallenge.org) and YouTube channel.
